
US e-Chromic Named Finalist in the 2011 Cleantech Open Global Business Competition
BOULDER, Colo., Oct. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- US e-Chromic LLC has been selected as a finalist in the 2011 Cleantech Open Business Competition as a result of being a winner at the Rocky Mountain Regional competition. US e-Chromic CEO and founder, Loren Burnett, accepted the award on behalf of the company, at a ceremony in Denver on October 6, 2011. US e-Chromic will be one of 24 teams competing for the $250,000 grand prize to be awarded at the Cleantech Open 2011 Global Forum in San Jose, CA on November 15 and 16, 2011. This year's competition began in May with 285 national entrants: 38 of those companies were in the Rocky Mountain Region. Regional and national judges are recognized experts in clean technology, clean energy and include institutional investors in the clean tech sector.
