TUCSON, Ariz., March 31, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- US Fries will be hosting the 1st Semi-Annual Poutine Pig-out at the Fourth Avenue Spring Street Fair on April 1, 2, 3, 2016. This competitive eating challenge will take place round-robin style with five qualifying rounds and one championship round.
Participants will be required to eat with their hands and will have five minutes to consume as much Traditional Poutine as possible. The competition is free to join and will take place on the US Fries Stage located on Seventh Street between Hoff Avenue and Third Avenue.
All foodies who wish to participate in the championship round must compete in one of the five qualifying rounds that will take place at 12:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. A final qualifying round will take place on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. with the championship round kicking off at 4:30 p.m.
There will be two winners from each qualifying round for a total of ten competitors vying for the Poutine Pig-out Championship title. The Grand Prize winner will receive a $500 gift card to US Fries.
