ST. MICHAEL, Minn., Dec. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- U.S. Water Services, Inc. files suit against Novozymes A/S and Novozymes North America in the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin to protect its intellectual property.
U.S. Water filed suit yesterday in the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin against Novozymes A/S and Novozymes North America for infringing U.S. Water's Patent No. 8,415,137 related to the control of mineral deposit scaling in ethanol production. U.S. Water developed the pHytOUT® deposit control technology and was awarded its first patent for the technology in 2007 with additional patents awarded in 2011 and 2013.
