Partnership Provides Access to Unique Underground Dark Fiber Path to Ashburn Bypassing Washington
SILVER SPRING, Md., Dec. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- USA FIBER, a company that engineers, builds and operates mission critical dark fiber networks for clients in the telecommunications, Internet, data center, government, research & education and enterprise space, announced an agreement with ByteGrid Holdings LLC, to extend its core dark fiber platform into ByteGrid's flagship data center and jointly team on unique IT infrastructure opportunities.
ByteGrid, a leading provider of data center and IT infrastructure services, which specializes in highly compliant hosting and cloud solutions, has partnered with USA FIBER, to provide fiber connectivity from Maryland's largest multi-tenant and most advanced Tier 3 / 4 data center, located in the city of Silver Spring, MD, directly to Ashburn, VA.

Under the agreement, USA FIBER will offer its dark fiber infrastructure solutions to ByteGrid's customers. The agreement will enable ByteGrid's enterprise, government and service provider customers to connect to USA FIBER's network, which will offer the lowest latency connections to Ashburn, VA, which includes access to all key data centers and cloud platforms such as Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and hundreds of other platforms in the area.
