VAN BUREN, Ark., Aug. 1, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- USA Truck, Inc. (NASDAQ: USAK) today announced that David B. Hartline has been named as the Company's Executive Vice President and Chief Operations Officer for Trucking effective immediately.

Mr. Hartline has nearly 20 years of transportation experience. For the past 14 years he was employed by Heartland Express, Inc. of North Liberty, IA in a variety of operations roles, most recently as Director of Southeastern Operations. Mr. Hartline holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from The Citadel Military College of South Carolina and a Masters in Project Management from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
