Used Cup Filling Machines Arrive for Sale at Wohl Associates, Inc.
Wohl Associates Inc., a Bohemia, NY based dealer of used processing and packaging machinery, has acquired 3 cup filling machines that have recently arrived in the Wohl inventory.
BOHEMIA, N.Y., June 10, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Three new used cup filling machines have arrived at Wohl Associates' warehouse, joining the dozens of other pieces of processing and packaging machinery that are for sale there.

The first of these three newly arrived used cup filling machines is the Holmatic OF-2340 Opti-Fil, which is produced by Used Packaging Technologies. This model can fill, seal, and overcap both cups and trays at a rate of 200 per minute. The cup feeder is automatic and is presently gauged to handle cups with a three and one-quarter inch diameter. The construction is all stainless steel, and the machine is set up for four-position piston filling. While its last use was for packaging butter and margarine, many other uses are possible.
The second used cup filling machine to join Wohl Associates' inventory is the Holmatic QC-80 Rotary Cup model, which fills, seals, and overcaps. It features an eight-station cup dropper, a piston filler, a roll-stock heat sealer, and a spin overcap device. It is rated to handle up to 45 cups a minute and is presently gauged for six-inch diameter cups. The machine also has a "no cup no function" control feature. It is built out of stainless steel, ensuring a long lifespan. This machine was last used for butter and margarine packaging at a major manufacturer, but it can be used for yogurt, pudding, and even dry goods if modified.
The third machine that was recently acquired is the RO-A7 HS Automatic Cup Filling and Sealing System, which like the other two cup fillers was manufactured by Used Packaging Technologies. This equipment provides denesting, filling, and heat-sealing. It comes fitted out with a top-mounted Spee-Dee 3500 Servo Drive Auger Filler. Its last use was for powder filling in the veterinarian pharmaceuticals industry, but it is capable of fulfilling other purposes.
