Cybil Wallace joins Ustream as its first Executive Producer with more than 17 years of journalism and editing experience that includes leadership positions at CNN.com and The Associated Press. Before joining Ustream, Wallace was the features editor at CNN.com where she built a team of reporters and editors to focus on original content and in-depth coverage. She began her CNN.com career as an assignment editor, responsible for the site's breaking news coverage. Prior to joining CNN, Wallace worked for several years as a reporter and day supervisor at The Associated Press. At the AP she focused on national breaking news. She covered state government and the Mormon Church as well as stories including the Elizabeth Smart kidnapping, the 2002 Salt Lake Olympics and more elections than she cares to remember. Wallace is a graduate of Michigan State University with a degree in journalism.
Scott Roesch joins Ustream as Head of News & Entertainment Business Development with nearly two decades of experience in the creation and distribution of online video and other forms of media. Prior to his current position, Roesch was VP of Digital Development for the MTV Networks Entertainment Group, creating original web series and branded entertainment for Comedy Central and associated brands and clients. Roesch joined MTV Networks in its 2006 acquisition of Atom Entertainment, where he had been an early employee and executive with responsibility for the company's AtomFilms and Shockwave.com services. Earlier, he served as an editor-producer at Paul Allen's Starwave Corporation, contributing to MrShowbiz.com, ABCNEWS.com, and ESPN.com. Roesch's teams have won several Webby Awards and honors from Billboard, Digital Hollywood, and PC Magazine. He is a graduate of UCLA Anderson School of Management with a Master of Business Administration, as well as the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in English.
