Utopia, Inc. Announces Workshop at SAP-Centric EAM

Utopia kicks off the event with keynote speaker and customer Bill Towsley, manager, master data management at Suncor Energy.  Mr. Towsley will present "EAM Success: What's Data Got to Do with It?" on Monday, March 4, at 9 a.m.  Topics include field data collection, asset tracking, mobile devices, and instant BI/analytics using in-memory SAP HANA™ solutions.

Andreas Reichert of the Institute of Information Management, University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, will present "Data Governance for EAM:  Succeed by Getting Governance Right."  During his session on Monday, 10:30 a.m., he will discuss the pros and cons of different models of corporate governance structures, central functions and shared service centers, and externalized services.  This presentation will provide examples from Siemens Enterprise Communications and Syngenta.

Utopia concludes the conference with an all day workshop entitled "How to Fund Your Next Data Project" on Wednesday, March 7.  This workshop provides insight into building the business case with clear linkage to business value; obtaining executive alignment and support, executing data initiatives; measuring impact and progress, and how to evergreen your data processes.
