V O Group Will Open Cape Cod Office In January

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J., Nov. 17, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The V O Group, LLC ™, a New Jersey based timeshare consulting firm with offices in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey and Nashville, Tennessee, will open a third office in Dennis, Massachusetts in early January. The company specializes in helping victims of timeshare fraud and timeshare consumers seeking resolution to their unresolved complaints.

The V O Group currently employs over 100 people in New Jersey and Tennessee combined, and plans to double that number when the Cape Cod office is fully staffed.

"We will open in Cape Cod in January with around 50 employees. Our plan is to move that number to 100 by summer. Our goal is to be the largest employer in Cape Cod within 18 months," said Adam Lacerda, V O Group President and CEO. "We are extremely excited to be able to move into Cape Cod and even more excited to open our largest office to date."

The V O Group is planning a Grand Opening for the new office the first week in January and is currently interviewing potential employees.

"People ask us all the time what we do. The answer is fairly simple—we help timeshare owners find a resolution to their ownership problems. We help people and that is a good business to be in. We listen to what our clients say, and by listening and paying attention to the people we formed this company to help, we have been able to develop unique timeshare resolution programs that work," he said.

Ashley Lacerda, V O Group Executive Vice President & COO, says the Cape Cod office will allow the V O Group to expand its mission of corporate social responsibility, which is aimed at helping people in need. According to the Lacerdas, giving back is not an option for them and is part of the core culture of the V O Group.

"Companies look at corporate social responsibility differently, and many small businesses do not embrace this concept, or feel they are not financially able to. But we believe we have an obligation to give back to those in need. We have done this from the beginning and will expand our giving with our new office," she said.

In 2011 the V O Group supplied over 300 coats, food and clothing for homeless families; and presented a check for $5,000 to a local food pantry. The company also "adopted" 10 children for Christmas and is supplying gifts based on the children's letters to Santa.

"In 2012 we are planning to expand our giving in Nashville and now we will add Cape Cod. There is a lot of need in our world and we believe even the smallest gift or a warm coat can change a person's life for the better. The gifts for children in need have really touched our hearts. Our conference room is filled with wrapped packages, provided by our employees, ready to be mailed," Ashley Lacerda said.

Unlike many business owners, Adam Lacerda says he is not worried about any risks involved in expanding to another location. He cites the unprecedented growth the Vacation Ownership Group has experienced since opening their first office in April 2010. As well, he says the new office will provide much needed jobs, which include benefits and above-average salaries, to the Cape Cod area.

"I am convinced that small business owners will be the leaders in America's economic recovery. They are already paving the way. We did not go into this location without doing our due diligence. I am from the Cape Cod area and Massachusetts is a welcoming place to do business," he said.

The Vacation Ownership Group's plans for growth include opening a fourth office in mid-2012 in a location along the South Carolina Coast.
