Vacation in Florida Turns Into a Business Opportunity

PINELLAS PARK, Fla., Nov. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- What was supposed to be a two-week stay in Tampa, Florida turned into a business opportunity for California resident, Raymond (Ray) Cintron.  During his visit, Cintron realized his ill and elderly parents needed more assistance and therefore began the quest for employment related to his expertise in architecture & design in kitchens and baths.  His job interview with Carl Kuttler, Sr. to manage his deceased son's business turned into an opportunity where Raymond and his brother Angel "Hank" Cintron bought Kuttler Kitchens and renamed it R & K Kitchens and Baths.

After receiving his degree from the Pratt Institute's School of Architecture, Raymond Cintron remained in New York City working for architectural and interior design firms specializing in commercial and residential properties.  His time in Europe & Latin America as a child exposed him to another passion in various cuisines therefore pursuing a weekend career in catering, until he opened Hummingbird Confections in San Diego, CA.
