Vacuum Interrupters Introduces LRTS10 Battery-Powered 10 A Digital Micro-Ohmmeter
DENTON, Texas, Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Vacuum Interrupters, a leading developer of electrical test equipment and manufacturer of replacement vacuum interrupters, pole assemblies, parts, and components for medium-voltage vacuum circuit breakers and contactors, introduces the new LRTS10 low-resistance test set, the first digital micro-ohmmeter built on the Milwaukee® M18™ REDLITHIUM™ battery platform.
Rather than stopping to recharge, technicians can swap in a fresh battery and keep testing. The LRTS10 works with all Milwaukee M18 batteries, so crews already invested in the platform can power the test set with packs they already carry on the truck. Each unit ships with test leads and a cable bag, a charger, and an M18 XC5.0 battery capable of delivering more than 1,100 tests.
The test set offers six user-selectable test currents with resolution to 1.0 µΩ and measurement accuracy of 0.2% + 5.0 µΩ on the 10 A range. Technicians can use the LRTS10 to verify low-resistance connections in the field, the shop, the lab, or anywhere a four-wire Kelvin measurement indicates that a connection is sound.
Typical applications for the LRTS10 include switchgear and circuit breakers; bolted busbar joints and cable terminations, lugs, transformers, and motors; and ground and bonding connections. Request a quote here.
