Valener announces the broadcast of its financial results and those of Gaz Métro for the second quarter of the 2012 fiscal year

MONTREAL, April 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ - Valener Inc. ("Valener") (TSX: VNR), created in the context of the reorganization of Gaz Métro Limited Partnership's ("Gaz Métro") public ownership structure, will hold a telephone conference with financial analysts on Monday, May 14, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. (Eastern time) to discuss its results and those of Gaz Métro for the second quarter ended March 31, 2012.

Pursuant to an administration and management support agreement entered into between Valener and Gaz Métro on September 30, 2010, Gaz Métro acts as manager of Valener.
