Validare Achieves ACCME Accreditation
Validare is the first and only accreditation consulting firm to achieve accreditation by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education.
SAN RAMON, Calif., Aug. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Validare has been awarded national certification for their continuing medical education program. The training that Validare provides to physicians and their staff on how to become accredited for Office Based Surgery has now been recognized by the ACCME (Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education). Physicians who participate in Validare's accreditation preparation program will receive CME (Continuing Medical Education) credits for the time they spend working on becoming accredited for office based surgery.
The ACCME has very strict criteria regarding who they authorize to provide CME credits. Validare is very proud to be among this elite group. Other entities who are similarly accredited for their medical education programs include universities, medical schools, and medical societies. Validare continually strives to streamline the accreditation process and increase their clients' efficiency. Starting July 1, 2010, physicians, who are current Validare clients in good standing, will receive one AMA PR Category 1 credit for every hour of training they receive. Validare is offering this service to their clients at no additional charge. Validare's ability to award physicians CME credits truly provides added value while working to achieve accreditation.
