Value Recovery Group Acquires Scully Capital Services, Inc.

COLUMBUS, Ohio, July, 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Value Recovery Group (VRG) announced that it has concluded its acquisition of Scully Capital Services, Inc. (Scully Capital). Founded in 1986, Scully Capital is a specialized financial advisory services firm based in Washington, D.C., that provides financial advisory services to the energy, transportation, infrastructure and water sectors. VRG's consulting subsidiary, Value Recovery Holding (VRH), will combine its resources with Scully Capital to manage a joint consulting practice. The combined enterprise will support 10 federal agencies, providing financial advisory services across the risk spectrum, from project development to asset management and recovery. All key Scully Capital personnel, including founder Larry Scully, will remain with the firm.

Closing took place on June 30, 2015. While the new enterprise will be headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, its main office for the consulting practice will be located out of its expanding Washington D.C., office.
