ValueMomentum and Capital Insurance Group Lead Discussion on Underwriting Collaboration at ACORD LOMA '13 Session

The session was led by Capital Insurance Group CIO, David Todd and Commercial Product Manager, Ryan Bayne, where they shared the business objectives and the solution they selected.  They outlined their objectives of providing a consistent work process to underwriters and enabling them to work remotely, their need to respond to market opportunities with a system where underwriting rules could be configured and deployed rapidly, and their goal of aiding underwriter-agent collaboration. They went on to describe how they conceived of the solution "VIEWS" – Virtual Integrated Electronic Workflow System, to meet their business goals.
