Valworx Expands Stainless Steel Flange Ball Valve Product Line

CORNELIUS, N.C., Sept. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Valworx, Inc., a leading manufacturer of actuated valves and controls, announced today, they are expanding their line of stainless steel flanged ball valves to include ½" and ¾" sizes.

The new, smaller valves have the feature-rich characteristics of the larger sizes including full-port design for unrestricted flow, a standard ANSI 150# flange connection, RTFE/Viton seals and a stainless steel locking handle.

The valves are rated at 275psi CWP, 125psi saturated steam pressure, and a vacuum of 29in Hg, and are pressure tested in compliance with API 598, EN 12266.

Typical uses include water, air, oil, vacuum and other media compatible with the materials of construction. The valves use special high-cycle life seals with low operating torques, and can be direct-mounted to air or electric actuators using the standard ISO5211 mounting pads thereby eliminating the need for extra mounting brackets or couplings.

For customers needing an actuated valve, the company offers the new valves as pre-engineered assemblies, including air (pneumatic) actuation and electrical actuation in various AC and DC voltages. Both types of actuation can be ordered as on/off or with a throttleable positioner type of control.
