ST. LOUIS, June 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Van Dewey has been promoted to Managing Director for Rabo AgriFinance (RAF), and will lead the new Central Region out of the Wichita, KS, office.
RAF recently restructured its organizational model to improve support to field offices and focus on client needs. As Managing Director for the Central Region, Van Dewey will be responsible for developing a strategic business plan, supporting RAF's growth, and building client relationships in the new region.
"Van has extensive knowledge of the Central Region," said RAF President and CEO John Ryan. "His wealth of experience will help our business grow while we enhance our customer focus."
Dewey joined RAF in 2003 as a relationship manager and was soon promoted to team leader covering parts of Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma. Upon his promotion in 2007, he and his team more than tripled the size of the portfolio. His background also includes agricultural lending with government sponsored lenders and commercial banks.
He is a graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in Agricultural Education, and lives on his family farm of five generations.
