CINCINNATI, Feb. 6, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Vantiv, LLC, (formerly Fifth Third Processing Solutions, LLC) a leading integrated payment processor, announced today that United Way of Greater Cincinnati awarded the Company first place in the Top 10 New Business Leaders category of their Top Companies 2011 report. To qualify for this prestigious award, nominees must give to United Way by providing a new corporate gift, a new employee campaign or both. Vantiv employees committed $200,000 toward United Way's annual campaign which supports programs and initiatives to help children succeed and families achieve financial stability, earning the Company top placement on the list.

"I am incredibly proud of our team for accepting the United Way challenge. The money we have raised will support programs and services that achieve tangible results in our local communities," said Charles Drucker, Chief Executive Officer, at Vantiv. "Each day, our employees find solutions and create new products and services to enrich the business lives of our customers. I believe they applied that same sense of commitment and desire to succeed beyond expectations to the United Way campaign. We are driven by our core values which reflect our commitment to always doing the right thing for our team members, our customers and our communities."
Vantiv employees believe in giving back and are encouraged to participate in service activities that contribute to the communities in which they live and work. In 2010, Vantiv introduced their Community Services Activities program encouraging full-time employees to use a normal work day to participate in a community service activity of their choice. Employees have used this day to volunteer at individual events of their choice such as volunteering at their children's school or church.
Vantiv employees contributed more than financial support to the annual campaign; in late 2011, both a coat drive and toy drive were held across the company. More than 500 warm coats, gloves, scarves and other winter accessories were collected, and nearly 300 toys were donated. The coats and toys were distributed to local United Way agencies where Vantiv offices are located. In addition to the corporate offices in Cincinnati, Vantiv also has offices in Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois and Texas. The success of this corporate-wide campaign demonstrates the impact Vantiv makes on a local level when all of its offices unite for a common cause.
"The enthusiasm and support exhibited by Vantiv is tremendous!" said Robert C. Reifsnyder, President, United Way of Greater Cincinnati. "This company and their employees have shown incredible support both financially and through volunteer time at our local agencies. This outreach exemplifies 'Living United' to improve the lives of others in our communities where we work, live and serve."
