Vari-Form Honored by Chrysler Group LLC as Top-Performing Supplier Finalist for 2013

TROY, Mich., July 17, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Chrysler Group LLC honored its top-performing suppliers during the Company's 2014 Annual Strategy Meeting and Supplier Awards Ceremony held recently at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

Vari-Form was honored as a finalist, having demonstrated top performance in the Supply Chain Management category.

Criteria for Vari-Form's selection included achieving the highest levels of performance as measured by the Chrysler supplier scorecard. In this case, Vari-Form delivery and quality scores ranked above 95%.

All award recipients were determined based on an evaluation of each company's External Balanced Scorecard performance in 2013 – a rating system that evaluates supplier performance in areas such as quality, delivery, cost, warranty and partnership – coupled with input and agreement from Chrysler Group senior leadership.

Approximately 3,000 global supplier executives attended the event. In addition to the awards ceremony, Chrysler Group and Fiat S.p.A. purchasing leadership reviewed their strategy for the future and expectations of suppliers. Scott Garberding, Head of Group Purchasing, Fiat S.p.A, presented Global Group Purchasing Strategy, and Scott Kunselman, Head of Purchasing and Supplier Quality, Chrysler Group shared NAFTA Group Purchasing Initiatives & Priorities with the audience.
