Joint solution helps organizations detect, prioritize and investigate AI-driven attacks while validating performance across existing security controls
SAN JOSE, Calif., Sept. 9, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- World Wide Technology (WWT), a leading global technology solutions provider, today announced an expanded collaboration with Vectra AI, a leader in AI-native security and observability to bring advanced behavioral detection, entity-level prioritization and agentic investigation and response capabilities to WWT's Defending at the Speed of AI initiative. The collaboration builds on Vectra AI's recent achievement of Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP) High Authorization, extending the platform's availability to U.S. federal agencies and high-impact federal environments.
The collaboration is designed to help organizations detect and respond to attacks that move faster than traditional security operations can investigate and contain them. Vectra AI's Attack Signal Intelligence provides visibility across network, identity, cloud and SaaS environments, including infrastructure that cannot run an endpoint agent, such as VPN concentrators, firewalls and databases.
"Defending at the Speed of AI was built to connect the full defensive lifecycle, from identifying exploitable risk through remediation," said Chris Konrad, Vice President, Global Cyber at WWT. "Vectra AI adds differentiated behavioral detection, entity-level prioritization and investigation capabilities to that framework. Through the Global Cyber Innovation Lab, customers can evaluate how those capabilities perform alongside other controls in realistic attack scenarios, determine the right fit for their environments and operationalize them before deployment."
WWT's Defending at the Speed of AI initiative addresses five stages of modern defense: proving what is genuinely exploitable, prioritizing what matters, preventing what is avoidable, propelling remediation at machine speed and patching the systems that need it.
Vectra AI contributes behavioral detection, prioritization and investigation capabilities during the period between exposure and remediation, when an organization knows risk exists but cannot immediately eliminate it. Its capabilities support three stages within the broader lifecycle:
Prove. Autonomous penetration testing establishes which weaknesses an attacker could genuinely exploit and what they could reach by chaining them. When those exposures cannot be remediated quickly, Vectra AI helps detect attacker behaviors that may follow exploitation.
Prioritize. Vectra AI scores entities, including hosts, accounts and identities, rather than treating each alert independently. By correlating multiple detections against a single entity, the platform helps security teams focus on the activity most likely to represent a meaningful attack.
Propel. Vectra AI's agentic investigation capabilities assemble the evidence behind a prioritized entity into an attack narrative that includes root cause, scope and supporting context. The platform can then help initiate containment through existing endpoint and identity controls, reducing the manual reconstruction work required from security operations teams.
"AI is becoming operational on both sides of the security equation," said Hitesh Sheth, CEO of Vectra AI. "As attacks move at machine speed, resilience depends on whether defenders can understand behavior as it unfolds and act before it creates business impact. Vectra AI's Attack Signal Intelligence provides that capability, and our work with WWT gives customers a practical way to validate and operationalize it within their existing environments."
By combining Vectra AI's behavioral detection and investigation capabilities with WWT's technical expertise, partner ecosystem and validation environments, the collaboration gives customers a practitioner-led path to assess how the solution performs against realistic attacks before deploying it in production.
