Velos Annual Meeting Draws Record Audience for Clinical Research Thought Leadership Presentations and Success Story Sharing

SAN FRANCISCO, May 20, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Velos, Inc. this week hosted a constellation of prestigious academic medical centers, research institutions, investigative leaders and industry partners at its annual meeting in San Francisco. Mark Hagland, Editor-in-Chief of Healthcare Informatics Magazine, delivered the keynote address. Hagland shared insights about current issues in healthcare information management, such as Meaningful Use, HITECH and other elements of the Health Care Reform Act.

Velos customers gathered to discuss a variety of initiatives and to hear speakers from such institutions as the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, the University of Miami and Duke University.
