Venture Global LNG Hires Former Cheniere Vice President and Treasurer

WASHINGTON, Jan. 13, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Venture Global LNG, Inc. is pleased to announce that former Cheniere Vice President and Treasurer Graham A. McArthur will join the company as Vice President and Treasurer.

McArthur brings to Venture Global LNG more than 25 years of financial experience in the energy industry. He has a history of operational management of treasury and corporate insurance functions and a successful track record of executing complex market transactions. He most recently served as Vice President and Treasurer of Cheniere Energy, Inc., the energy company primarily engaged in LNG-related businesses, where he spent 10 years. McArthur served as Treasurer and was a critical member of the finance team during Cheniere Partners Holdings' $665 million initial public offering in 2013. As Treasurer, he managed daily corporate liquidity and all corporate debt instruments and was responsible for the development of, and compliance with, corporate investment policy. He was also responsible for managing the corporate insurance program.

Prior to Cheniere, McArthur was with Westlake Chemical Corporation, beginning in 1996, serving most recently as Assistant Treasurer. He began his career in commercial banking in 1987 before moving into a corporate treasury role in 1991.
