Veristor Expands Presence in Tennessee; Adds David Smith as Area Sales Manager

NASHVILLE, Tenn., Oct. 4, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Veristor Systems, Inc., a leading provider of transformative business technology solutions, today announced that it has added David Smith as Area Sales Manager for the greater Nashville area. Smith joins Veristor following sales leadership positions with Splunk and Peak 10. The addition of Smith is part of Veristor's Southeast expansion strategy and underscores Veristor's focus on expanding customer engagements throughout Tennessee.

In addition to adding Smith to its Tennessee region's sales team, Veristor has plans to grow its current sales, support and technology architecture team in the region. The company will also be expanding its office facility in Nashville to build out a central point from which it can grow sales opportunities.

Smith is a 15-year IT veteran with significant sales experience throughout Tennessee. Prior to joining Veristor, Smith was vice president and general manager for Peak 10 where he was responsible for the growth and health of Peak 10's Nashville market presence. Smith has also served in sales leadership positions in the region for Splunk, Asurion and AT&T Wireless. He holds a bachelor's degree in sports management / business administration from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Smith is a member of the board of directors for the Nashville Technology Counsel, the advisory board for TechBridge and the board of directors for Junior Achievement of Middleton City.
