HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla., Sept. 22, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hallandale Beach Community Redevelopment Agency ("HBCRA") and Vessel Technologies ("Vessel" or the "Company"), the housing product company reinventing multifamily development, today announced a partnership to advance two new affordable housing developments totaling 53 homes on two HBCRA-owned properties in Hallandale Beach—Vessel's first-ever partnership with a community redevelopment agency, and a milestone in the Company's mission to close a profound and growing gap in quality, attainable housing.

The developments include a 23-unit community planned for 128-132 S.E. 2nd Terrace and a 30-unit community planned for 414 S.E. 3rd Ave. At its September 14 meeting, the HBCRA Board of Directors authorized the CRA to move forward with Vessel on the projects, representing up to $11.2 million in proposed payments to Vessel. The HBCRA has identified the two properties for affordable housing redevelopment, and the new communities will advance the HBCRA's ongoing efforts to expand the supply of quality affordable housing while putting underutilized properties back into productive use.
