Veteran Infrastructure Products Now Offers Voltek Vault Replacement System

Replacing aging vaults traditionally has been an expensive, disruptive process requiring massive excavation, prolonged street closures and electrical service interruptions. But an innovative alternative available from Veteran Infrastructure Products (VIP) meets this increasing need with an ingenious, economical solution: the Voltek Underground Vault Replacement System.

The Voltek System creates a structural envelope within the failing vault. The new vault fits inside the existing structure in panelized pieces, with easy installation through the manhole - eliminating the need for excavation. A cable trap panel makes complex splicing unnecessary, as linemen are not required to remove the old cable and install new conductor.

After installation, the original structure can continue to decay around the Voltek System without any adverse service or maintenance issues.
