Victorious Barbershop Opens in Palm Springs

PALM SPRINGS, Calif., Nov. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Victorious Barbershop is set to open on Saturday, December 17th in Palm Springs, California at 771 S. Williams Street with a ribbon-cutting celebration from 1-5pm complete with food, drinks, and entertainment.

Founded by barbers, Nate Lara and Edwin Garcia, Victorious combines cutting-edge style with traditional barber techniques in the new shop which they hope to be the first of many locations in the future.  According to Lara, "I've always had a respect for the craft of barbering and knew it would be a good career for me. After completing barber college, I worked at several shops picking up tips from new cutters as well as old-school master barbers, all along with a goal of having my own shop one day. That ultimately led to joining forces with Edwin to come up with the concept of Victorious Barbershop."

Both Lara and Garcia are long-time Coachella Valley residents and have a strong and loyal following of clients.  "While we are best known for our design work, razor fades, line ups and other new cuts, our customers range from younger guys looking for the latest styles to older gentlemen who just want a great traditional haircut, maybe with a little modern edge," says Lara.

Victorious Barbershop is a four-chair shop with a cool urban vibe; black and white tile floors, rolling industrial tool-chest work stations, and grey and black chalk board walls.
