Buick and Chevrolet Unveil the Next Generation of Compact Cars

Buick introduced its version of downsizing without comprise, with the 2012 Verano. The brand's first compact luxury sedan, the Verano promises to break compact car stereotypes with sculpted design elements, luxurious interiors and enhanced safety and technology features. Billed as both fun and fuel-efficient, Chevrolet unveiled the 2012 Sonic.
When it begins production later this year, the Sonic will be the only small car from any manufacturer, built in the U.S. - providing nearly 1,000 new jobs. And Chevrolet hopes its progressive styling, performance and value will change the perception of what a small car can be in America.
