Videonitch Software Platform wins Caterpillar's Most Prestigious Innovation Award

NORWOOD, Mass., Sept. 22, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Videonitch's software solution, Channel 1, received the CSS ACI Innovation award, which honors new solutions that disrupt common practices and create a significant positive impact on Caterpillar customers and their business, especially in growth, sustainability, efficiency, and collaboration. Videonitch, a rapidly growing video learning company, partnered with Caterpillar Inc.'s Global Dealer Learning (GDL) team to expand upon their VN Channel software and develop the video learning platform Channel 1. Channel 1 was not only the Customer Service Support (CSS) Annual Continuous Improvement (ACI) award winner in the Innovation category, but also overall Grand Champion for CSS. The team will advance as a finalist to the 2015 prestigious Chairman's Innovation Award.

With over 47,000 views to date and more than 200 videos posted, Channel 1 content is growing rapidly and has proven to be a powerful tool for sharing training information to Caterpillar's external customers, dealers and supplier networks, as well as customer-facing Caterpillar employees.
