ViewDo Labs Launches Enterprise Social Maturity Spectrum™

WOBURN, Mass., Feb. 12, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- ViewDo Labs®, a pioneer in enterprise social network (ESN) analytics and governance, today announced the launch of its Enterprise Social Maturity Spectrum™, a roadmap to help organizations accelerate their social journey in order to increase adoption and achieve ubiquitous collaboration across the enterprise.

The Enterprise Social Maturity Spectrum is divided into four stages to help businesses assess where they are in terms of enterprise social development. The four stages include:

• Experimenting: During the experimenting phase, one group takes a leap of faith and puts social theory into practice. The effort is focused on a specific need and all goals are set around that narrow initiative;
• Expanding: After early experimentation has been completed, lessons learned are applied to other parts of the organization. Pockets of social users begin to surface as both successes and failures are documented;
• Embracing: Embracing organizations have built structured efforts and have the majority of their operations engaged in social communication channels in small but measurable ways; and,
• Everywhere: The everywhere enterprise has optimized social interaction, and its use is truly pervasive and highly integrated into a wide range of core business processes.

This program will arm ESN managers with the data to support the business case for expanding social in the enterprise.
