Vinstra Country Music Festival 2013 - Country Stars, Am Car and Camping

Last year`s anniversary was a huge success for the Vinstra Country Music Festival. Operating a festival for over 20 years is not commonplace in the festival industry, and the management is now motivated to work to create this year's line-up, new moments and historical events and concerts.

This is the 21st. Vinstra Country Music Festival in Kåja, Vinstra. Each year the festival draws over 15,000 country fans to Gudbrandsdalen, where camping, country music, AMCAR and good atmosphere leaves its mark on an otherwise quiet city. The Vinstra Country Music Festival takes place between 3^th and 3^th of July.

The festival management Trond Grøthe is proud of this year's festival news: "After last year's successful anniversary, we are working towards 20 new years at Vinstra. Besides our amazing program, we will introduce delicious food, soon to be released artists and much more. We are hoping for a new audience record!"

American superstars, Norwegian Idol-finalist, to-become country stars, and traditional Country artists

This year's booking will reflect the festival audience. It is diversity and entertaining.

With 21 million albums sold, winner of 40 Country awards, and a total of 13 number one hit-singles in the U.S. the superstars Rascal Flatts are the obvious draw for this year's Country Music Festival. The more traditional country music is introduced by Steinar Albrigsten and G Thomas, while for the youth; we have collected our neighbors from the East, Miss Anderson. Norwegians love Norwegians, Locals love locals, so the festival have picked up an up and coming Country star from Vinstra named Terje Iversen. At least we have booked a couple of all-time favorites like Hellbillies and the new Norwegian Idol-finalist Steffen Jakobsen. The complete artist list can be found at the website.

New release: Gunslinger

The country band Gunslingers is once again confirmed to Vinstra Country Music Festival. The band from Hardanger in Norway is known for high sing-along factor, a wonderful stage show and a great sense of humor. This is a must for any Country festival. There are high expectations for their new album to be launched in 2013, an album we hope to hear much from the Country Music Festival.
