Virginia Commonwealth Bank Announces Promotion

Robertson, a native of Chesterfield County, joined First Federal Savings Bank in August 2002 as a Utility Teller and in May 2003 was promoted to Customer Service Representative/Supervisor. In March 2006, she was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager and promoted in December 2006 to Branch Manager.  Robertson was elected to the position of Human Resource/ADA Officer in 2007. During this time, First Federal obtained approval from the State Corporation Commission and Federal Reserve Bank to convert to a state chartered bank, thus becoming Virginia Commonwealth Bank.               

Robertson's career path continued under Virginia Commonwealth Bank with a promotion in October 2011 to Vice President, Retail Branch Administration/Security Officer and her recent promotion to Senior Vice President, Retail Sales & Business Development/Security Officer.

Robertson received her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.  She is a graduate of the Virginia Bankers' School of Bank Management held at the University of Virginia.    

Robertson's passion for financial literacy and education for all ages has her involved in various programs sponsored by Junior Achievement, American Bankers Association and the Virginia Bankers Association. She is also a member of the Virginia Bankers Association Retail Executive Committee and is involved with numerous Chambers of Commerce in the Bank's various service areas.

Robertson enjoys spending time with her nephew and 2 nieces and she's looking forward to the new arrival of another niece or nephew in January 2018. She is also a marathoner and avid hunter.
