Virginia Virtual Academy Students Log On August 24th To Start the School Year

HERNDON, Va., Aug. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Students at Virginia Virtual Academy (VAVA), an accredited, full-time, online public charter school, will begin their 2015-2016 school year on August 24th as the program marks its 7th year of operation in the state.
Virginia Virtual Academy is available tuition-free to students in grades K–7 who are residents of Virginia as the school is open for state-wide enrollment.

Students can also choose to participate in dozens of extracurricular activities and clubs that cover a wide variety of interests.
VAVA teachers provide instruction, guidance and support, and regularly interact with students and parents via email, web-based classrooms, online discussions, phone and face-to-face opportunities. Teachers also organize numerous field trips and school activities where students have the option to participate in events that blend academics and socialization.
