Washington D.C agency competes with global advertising giants
WASHINGTON, June 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Visionista (www.visionista.tv), a trail-blazer in the new world of content and video marketing, won a Gold Stevie for Sales Video Campaign of the year, and a Silver Stevie for Employee Communications Video Campaign of the year at the 10th Annual American Business Awards Monday night. The Stevie Awards® are the world's premier business, awards and trophies were presented to honorees during the gala banquet on Monday, June 18 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York. More than 500 nominees and their guests attended and the presentations were broadcast live by the Business TalkRadio Network.
Visionista, a firm established three years ago, and built on documentary filmmaking skills combined with 20 years of experience in corporate communications, competed against more than 3,000 other nominees, many from the world's largest traditional advertising agencies. Finalists were chosen by more than 140 business professionals nationwide during preliminary judging in April and May. More than 150 members of 10 specialized judging committees determined the Stevie Award placements from among the Finalists during final judging.
