PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 1, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- The Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) of Greater Philadelphia announced a new member elected to its Board of Trustees: Mary Ann Forciea, M.D.

Mary Ann Forciea, M.D. is a Clinical Associate Professor of Geriatric Medicine in the University of Pennsylvania Health System and the Director of the Delaware Valley GEC at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Forciea was the recipient of one of the first group of Academic Awards of the National Institute of Aging (NIA) and is a past winner of the Clinician of the Year Award of the American Geriatric Society. She is consistently nominated as a "Top Doc" in Geriatric Medicine by Philadelphia Magazine. Dr. Forciea received her M.D. from Duke University and BS from Marquette University.
