Vista Equity Partners to serve as Event Presenting Sponsor for First Annual Brees Topgolf Challenge
Fundraiser to benefit Child Abuse Resource and Education (CARE) Team Program at Dell Children's Medical Center of Central Texas
Event to be held Sunday, June 28th at Topgolf Austin
AUSTIN, Texas, June 25, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Vista Equity Partners will serve as the Event Presenting Sponsor for the first annual Brees Topgolf Challenge, a fundraiser hosted by Super Bowl MVP and Austinite Drew Brees and his wife, Brittany, for the Child Abuse Resource and Education (CARE) Team Program at Dell Children's Medical Center. The event is expected to attract hundreds of people and raise $250,000.00 for thousands of Austin area children who seek help through the CARE Team Program each year.
The day's main event will consist of a golf tournament in which 34 teams of up to ten players receive 120 balls with the goal to have the highest score. The top 4 teams with the highest scores will then compete against Drew in a Topgolf Shootout. All participants will have their photo taken with Drew Brees, and four members of the top team will win an all expenses paid trip to the grand opening of Topgolf Las Vegas. Attendees will also be able to participate in a silent auction, get memorabilia autographed by Brees, and challenge the quarterback to on-site competitions.
