Vistex obtains legal ruling to protect its intellectual property

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., March 20, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Vistex Inc., the global leader in pricing, contract, and incentive management solutions, announced it had won a legal proceeding against Sibreo, LLC. Sibreo, founded by former consultants of a global systems integrator with a background in Vistex enterprise solutions, was accused of presenting Vistex's intellectual property under the Sibreo name. By agreement with Sibreo, the federal court entered a permanent injunction against Sibreo for the alleged misappropriation of Vistex's trade secrets. As a direct result, Sibreo was ordered to cease all business operations; to terminate any agreements between Sibreo and SAP AG pertaining to any certifications; to return or destroy any and all trade secrets; to uninstall, delete or destroy any source code; to withdraw all pending offers for sale or license of Sibreo software products; and to shut down its website.
