VisualOn, Inc. Names Andy Lin Chief Executive Officer

SANTA CLARA, Calif., Feb. 4, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- VisualOn, Inc., the leading software provider for high-quality streaming media experiences across connected devices, today announced Dr. Andy Lin as Chief Executive Officer. The Board of Directors' appointment is effective as of January 7, 2014. Dr. Lin brings extensive experience in leading development and operation activities for both high-growth technology start-ups and established companies. Dr. Lin most recently served as the Vice President of Research and Development at Cadence Design Systems, a leader in global electronic design automation.

Dr. Lin has served as a member of VisualOn's Board of Directors for seven years and is well-versed in the company's operations. He brings over 20 years of leadership in complex technical industries including software and hardware sectors. Co-Founder Dr. Yang Cai, who previously served as Chief Executive Officer and led the company over the last ten years, will serve as VisualOn's Chief Strategy Officer as well as Chairman of the Board of Directors.
