SEATTLE, June 27, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Four years after piloting the world's first student microloan, Vittana, the global non-profit committed to fighting youth poverty, has appointed veteran executive Robin Wolaner as its new Chief Executive Officer. Founder and former CEO Kushal Chakrabarti has stepped into the co-chair role.

Wolaner is the founder of Parenting Magazine, former CEO of Sunset Publishing, and executive VP of CNET. Most recently, she has been a business book author, company director and advisor to tech startups.
