VivaAerobus Announces Flights from Miami and Orlando to Monterrey
- VivaAerobus to offer the market's lowest fares connecting business and leisure travelers between Florida and Monterrey
ORLANDO, Fla., Aug. 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- VivaAerobus, Mexico's ultra low fares airline, announced today an extension of their presence into the US market, with new flight offerings from the cities of Miami and Orlando to Monterrey, Mexico.
This announcement positions VivaAerobus as the Mexican airline with greatest direct connectivity to Mexico's Northern Region.
Fares for the two new routes start at US $125 total price. The new routes will initiate operations as follows:
Monterrey – Orlando: November 19, operating regularly during high seasons.
Monterrey – Miami: November 11.

VivaAerobus introduced the low fares model into the Mexican market. The carrier launched operations in 2006 and has been servicing the US market since 2008 with three flights from Monterrey to the cities of Houston, Las Vegas, and Chicago with fares up to 70% below the competition.
