ViXS XCode 4000 Network Media Processors launch in the latest Sharp Blu-ray Digital Video Recorders 

TORONTO, Oct. 11, 2011 /PRNewswire/ - ViXS Systems Inc. today announced that ViXS' XCode 4000 family of network media processors are deployed in the latest Sharp Blu-ray digital video recorders (DVR). ViXS' XCode 4000 dual-stream high definition to dual stream high definition (HD) transcoding and network media processing system on chip (SoC) solution are deployed in all of Sharp's BD-W500, BD-W1000 and BD-W2000 Blu-ray recorders with 3D TV support containing 500 GB, 1 TB and 2 TB hard disk drives respectively.
