Vizit Spins-Out of Atalasoft

ISSAQUAH, Wash., May 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Vizit announces today that it has successfully spun-out of Atalasoft into an independent company providing value-add solutions for Microsoft SharePoint. The new company, Vizit Inc, extends SharePoint with Content Visualization and Social Collaboration solutions.

Vizit is led by Paul Yantus, an Enterprise Content Management veteran who takes on the position of Chief Executive Officer. Yantus was most recently EVP at Captaris, which sold to Open Text a leading Enterprise Content Management provider. Yantus also held senior positions at Scan-Optics, MSX International, and Lason. Rutherford Wilson will assume the role of Chief Technology Officer at Vizit and oversee Product Management and Development.
