Vology, Inc. Expands West Coast Services Operations

OLDSMAR, Fla., March 31, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Vology, Inc., a $170 million North American technology solutions provider, has acquired the Irvine, Calif.-based division of Govplace, a Reston, Va.-based value added reseller (VAR) to the Federal Government.

Govplace's Irvine division is a leading solution provider exclusively serving state, local government and education (SLED) customers in California. The acquisition adds a second physical location in California to support Vology's rapidly expanding California customer base and support deployment of complex technology solutions throughout the region. Additionally, the acquisition enhances Vology's overall managed services capabilities, specifically the management of enterprise storage platforms. These capabilities will be added to the Vology 360 managed services line card available to customers across North America.
