To ensure transparency, all user votes are aggregated and visible for everyone to see. Each week, bill summaries that contain aggregates of how constituents voted are sent to local legislators. Each legislator will see how their district voted; this provides visibility directly into the views of their constituents.
Take Back Your State's goals are to provide transparency in views at the individual bill level, the ability to communicate those views to legislators and to let people know that they are not alone in their thoughts. Currently, it has representation in MN, IA, WI, ND, SD, CO, CA and NY, with a goal to bring the tool to the remainder of the country.
