NEW YORK, Jan. 15, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- StrollerTraffic.com, the weekly email for city moms with kids under 3, along with co-host The Baby Guy, this week announced the voting period is open for the 2016 Cribsie Awards, which recognize the best products, services, and websites for babies and tots. The voting period for the 5th annual Cribsie Awards will run through January 29, 2016.
A yearly platform for a passionate community of parents to applaud their favorite parenting tools, the Cribsie Awards invite the public to cast their votes for 50 different Cribsie Awards, with 10 awards in each of five core categories: Fashion, Mealtime, Nursery, Play, and Gear. Awards include "Comfiest Carrier," "Best Breast Pump," "Healthiest Crib Mattress," and "Cutest Little Kicks."
In addition to the general awards, the Cribsies also announced the 2015 New Arrivals, which represent 100 of the best new products brought to market in the US last year. This leg of the Cribsies will be judged by the Cribsie Academy, comprising well-regarded experts across the baby and parenting field. New Arrivals rated a 3.5 out of 5 across four judging criteria – design, utility, marketability and innovation – will be designated as Academy Stars.
VOTE TO DONATE CAMPAIGN: This year, the Cribsie Awards is thrilled to partner with Plum Organics®, who has pledged to donate one pouch for every four votes cast—up to 50,000 baby food pouches. Plum's social impact program, The Full Effect®, fights early childhood malnutrition by donating nourishing organic food to communities in need across the US. Plum's donations will be made upon completion of the awards season.
Both the 2016 Cribsie Awards winners and the New Arrival Academy Stars will be announced on the Cribsies website, www.cribsieawards.com, on March 4, 2016.
