WHITE PLAINS, N.Y., March 19, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Pervasip Corp's (OTCQB: PVSP) VoX mobile calling app and calling card program are now contributing to Habitat for Humanity of Westchester ("HFH"), the organization that provides affordable housing to people in need.  Android and Apple users throughout the world can download the Vox Mobile VoIP app and VoX will automatically donate 15% of their phone bill to support HFH.

"There are approximately 80,000 families in Westchester who live in substandard housing," noted VoX Communication's CEO, Paul Riss.  "I have seen great volunteer staffs working with HFH to build, paint and organize, but HFH also requires cash contributions if it is going to succeed in its mission.  We are pleased that VoX and its customers can be a part of the cash donations to HFH."

In addition to the cash donations from VoX subscribers, VoX is helping HFH by supplying its retail stores with the VoX World calling card.  The VoX World card is a prepaid calling card that allows consumers to place discounted telephone calls to any phone number in the world.

People who download the VoX Mobile VoIP app can subscribe entirely from an Android phone and choose a phone number from a list of 57 countries without leaving the interface. When signing up, the customer will be prompted to enter a promo code, and by entering HABITAT, VoX will contribute 15% of the customer's invoice to HFH.  The Mobile VoIP paid plans start at $4.95, which is a low cost of entry for a high quality and reliable VoIP service offering. VoX also offers 500 minutes for $9.95, and $29.95 for unlimited calling to the US, Canada and Puerto Rico and 60 countries.   Several international calling plans to individual countries are also available, and VoX's calling rates are frequently more than 80% lower than rates charged by wireless carriers.

The VoX Mobile VoIP Android App can be viewed and downloaded here:

Consumers with an iPhone or iPad can also participate in this Habitat program.  However, iTunes will not let consumers enter a promo code when the app is downloaded.  Individual consumers will have to contact VoX or Habitat directly via email to participate in the Use Your Phone…Build a Home program.  The VoX app can be downloaded from iTunes here:

HFH is an organization of thousands of volunteers who seek to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness throughout Westchester County, and to make decent, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and public action. HFH invites people from all walks of life to work together in partnership to build houses with families in need.  For more information on how to help Habitat of Humanity of Westchester, visit their website at www.habitatwc.org.

People are also encouraged to help HFH by making a direct online tax-deductible donation to the Westchester branch of HFH by clicking on the Donate Now button on the HFH website http://www.habitatwc.org/.
