VZillion Hires Yves Bergquist to Serve as Company's Chief Strategy Officer

MIAMI, Feb. 8 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- VZillion, Inc. (Pink Sheets: VZIL), innovator of the virtual Internet, has announced that Yves Bergquist will Join VZillion as the company's Chief Strategy Officer.

In this role, Bergquist will work to create on-and-offline strategies to help accomplish VZillion's goals, launching Virtu-Real apartments (real entity with virtual representation) to entrepreneurs seeking to create marketing and advertising opportunities that will allow their brand partners to reach their target audience in truly unique ways.

VZillion utilizes 3D Virtu-Real apartment concept to deliver exclusive content in the form of live concerts, virtual shopping networks, sports & television programming and many other engaging and immersive experiences. VZillion will offer freemium services and collaborative environments and provide content and the monetization strategies needed to succeed on the Web.

At Singularity University, Bergquist's roles included co-managing curriculum and strategic development. Additionally, Bergquist spent several years as a consultant, designing business models and competitive strategies in high-velocity environments for clients including the Walt Disney Corporation, Ubisoft Entertainment, the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and the Japan External Trade Organization.

He received his MBA from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, with which he is currently developing "Slum University." Opening in Mumbai, India in 2011, "Slum University" is the world's first academic program focused on the microeconomics of slums. Bergquist lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
