The Limited-Time Delectable Vanilla Crepe Cake Hits the Menu Mid-October and the Celebration Hits its Crescendo with a 'Party Like it's 2006" Chicken Bowl on November 11
ANAHEIM, Calif., Oct. 13, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- WaBa Grill, the Los Angeles-original rice bowl restaurant company, is adding a limited time celebratory creamy, layered vanilla crepe cake to its menu in honor of its 20th anniversary. For six weeks starting October 12, guests will be treated to a variety of rewards, including enticing benefits added to their loyalty app, WaBa Rewards, all culminating into a one-day offer of the signature Chicken & Veggie Bowl for $5, just like it's 2006 all over again.
WaBa Grill will also be honoring veterans on Veterans Day, November 11, by offering a free slice of crepe cake to those who served at all locations while supplies last.
The restaurant company is celebrating opening its doors 20 years ago when it became one of the first better-for-you options to hit the fast casual market in Los Angeles, CA. WaBa Grill's bowls are served with freshly grilled proteins, colorful veggies and rice with choices of flavorful WaBa Grill sauces. Angelenos quickly adopted the WaBa mindset that a fast meal can be bold, fresh and packed with nutritious ingredients without having to compromise. Since then, the company's expanded beyond its original Los Angeles roots to four states with a roster filled with first-class franchise operators. WaBa Grill is quickly approaching 200 restaurants in California, Nevada, Arizona, and Texas.
"WaBa Grill has grown into everything we hoped," said CEO Andrew Kim. "We are proud of our operators that deliver a consistently great product, and, of course, our loyal fan base means everything to us. They've trusted us to bring them balanced, better-for-you bowls inspired by Asian cuisine traditions designed to be both nourishing and satisfying."
Starting October 12, WaBa Grill has plenty of surprises up its sleeve. No one will want to be left behind the exciting rewards that will drop in the WaBa Grill Rewards app daily and all guests are encouraged to get on board so they don't miss out. Additionally, no party is complete without the celebratory crepe cake that's gluten free, layered with vanilla pastry cream between crepes and topped with a mixed berry compote.
