Walker & Dunlop Reaches $1.5 billion in 2016 Investment Sales Volume

BETHESDA, Md., Sept. 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Walker & Dunlop, Inc. (NYSE: WD) (the "Company") announced today that its multifamily investment sales platform, Walker & Dunlop Investment Sales (WDIS), recently closed its 25^th transaction of the year, bringing the Company's year-to-date sales to over $1.5 billion as of August 30, 2016. Walker & Dunlop arranged the debt placement for one third of the total sales volume.

The sale of M North Apartments, a garden-style apartment community in Orlando, Florida, marks the 25^th closing by WDIS in 2016. The WDIS team, led by Greg Engler, Pat Jones, managing director, and Chris Chadbourne, vice president, represented the seller, Pollack Shores Real Estate Group, in the sale of the property to GrayCo, Inc. M North is part of the rapidly-expanding Orlando submarket, Millenia, located just ten miles from downtown Orlando and offers easy access to major shopping and dining while providing serenity from the traffic and noise of the downtown area. The 288-unit apartment complex features amenities such as a bar and lounge area, complimentary fitness classes, a pool with outdoor kitchen and grilling stations, and private outdoor cabanas.
