Dog Bowl 2016 in Frankenmuth, MI is the world's largest Olympic style event for dogs. This year's 10th annual event held May 28-29, 2016 is expected to draw more than 50,000 spectators and 5,000 dogs, including international competitors. FRANKENMUTH, Mich., March 16, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Corporations, business owners and other organizations both large and small have a unique, targeted opportunity to connect with thousands of dog owners, their families and a host of canine fans on Memorial Day weekend.

Sponsorships are available for Dog Bowl 2016, the 10^th annual event, slated for May 28-29, 2016 in Frankenmuth, Mich. and organized by the Frankenmuth River Place Shops. Current sponsors include Pepsi, Sysco Food Service, Plante Moran and Gordon Food Service.

The free Memorial Day weekend will feature more than 29 events and competitions, with 22 events for pets and owners to join in on. Dock diving competitions, barn hunt, disc dog competitions, agility contests and sheep herding demonstrations are all on the Dog Bowl 2016 schedule, which is expected to draw more than 50,000 participants and spectators.

More than 5,000 dogs are likely to be involved, said Michael Zehnder, chair of the Dog Bowl and general manager of the Bavarian Inn Lodge.
