Washington University in St. Louis School of Law Partners With Mexican Graduate School, EGAP Government and Public Policy of Tec de Monterrey, to Expand Online Offerings Through Dual LL.M. for Foreign Lawyers

ST. LOUIS, May 14, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Washington University in St. Louis School of Law today announced a new partnership with renowned Mexican graduate school, EGAP Government and Public Policy of Tec de Monterrey, to offer a dual Master of Laws (LL.M.) in U.S. Law and Transnational Law & Business. 2U, Inc. (NASDAQ: TWOU), an online learning platform and technology-enabled services company, will support the dual LL.M.

Students will complete 20 units from Washington University School of Law and 15 units from Tec de Monterrey's graduate school, EGAP Government and Public Policy. The program can be completed in two to three years (24–36 months) on a full-time or part-time basis. Upon completion of the 35 units, graduates will earn two degrees: an LL.M. in U.S. Law from Washington University School of Law and an LL.M. in Transnational Law & Business from EGAP, Tec de Monterrey. Students who fulfill all of the Washington University School of Law requirements are eligible to sit for the California Bar.

Tec de Monterrey is the largest and most prestigious private university in Mexico. It is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), and is a member of the European Consortium of Innovative Universities (ECIU).

The program will begin accepting applications before the end of May 2014 for the September 2014 cohort. Additional cohorts will be added throughout the subsequent year.
